Battlefield 3 at 1080p is pretty easy for all of these cards, even at Ultra settings. The GTX TITAN is 43% faster than the GTX 680, so those of you looking to complain right off the bat are going to have to wait for more results. Compared to the GTX 690 though, TITAN has a harder go at it, falling behind the performance of the dual-GK104 chip by 16%.
Our new metrics that show frame times and percentiles also see pretty regular scaling moving from the 50th percentile (close to an average, but not exactly) to the 99th. Looking at the frametimes graph above though you do clearly see a bit more variance in times on the yellow line, the one associated with the dual-GPU GTX 690. Again, a "thinner" result means that frame times are closer together and that the gaming experience should should see minimal stutter.

The raw performance lead for the GTX 690 grows to 28% at 2560x1440 over the GTX TITAN but the GK110 is able to beat the single Radeon HD 7970 by a healthy margin (30%). Looking at the frametimes data you can tell that again the GTX 690 has a bit more variance in its results but are still within reason compared to the single GPU cards. Notice the large "spikes" in the results aren't as dramatic or frequent in the TITAN, GTX 680 or HD 7970.
