MSI GTX 670 Power Edition: When Reference is Not Reference
Results: DiRT Showdown
The very latest in the DiRT series takes a break from rally racing and goes more towards hooliganism (or is that hooning?). Codemasters have pumped up the graphics on this title and added in a ton of DX11 shading and lighting effects. Settings were placed at Ultra with 4X AA and 16X AF. The built in benchmark was used.
Wow, quite the difference between this version of the EGO engine and that used in DiRT 3. This just hammers modern video cards. Though it played pretty smoothly overall, it does not feature the buttery smooth gameplay that 60+ fps affords racing fanatics. We also see that NVIDIA has some work to do to catch up to AMD in supporting this title. The AMD cards have a heavy lead over the GTX 670.
