When I'm on the go covering technology events or press conferences, my 15" laptop rarely has enough real estate compared to when I'm at the office using my dual 24" LCDs. Sometimes, I just need a few more inches of space to monitor e-mail, instant messaging, and even my MP3 playlist. One relatively inexpensive solution to this dilemma is Lilliput's 7" mini USB monitor. This little wonder requires no extra power and gets all the juice it needs through your system's USB port. We asked our friends at ThinkGeek.com to ship one over to us to review and they were more than happy to accommodate us.

This USB monitor can function as a third display in portrait or landscape formats. It's 800x480 native resolution makes it ideal for chatting with friends, monitoring your Twitter account, or even watching movies on the road. For $99, this handy device seems to be a simple, low-cost solution for consumers who want to expand their display without upgrading to a larger 17" laptop or adding another high-priced monitor to their current desktop PCs.

Features
