Zalman MS1000-HS2 arrived on my doorstep in this massive cardboard enclosure with a couple studio photos of both versions of this case that consumers can purchase. We received the black version for our review.
The back panel of the retail packaging showcased the case's "aerodynamic design" properties through a detailed illustration. It also showed off many of the case's other features that should entice consumers to drop $175 on this case in a heartbeat.
As we opened the top panel of the retail box, we were greeted with an extremely large accessory box that included the MS1000-HS2's rubber feet, a 3.5" FDD cover, micro ATX motherboard standoffs, power supply and motherboard screws, cable hooks and ties, a 12v extension cable, and a detailed user manual.
Here's a quick shot of the overall packing job Zalman did with the MS1000-HS2. I like the thick foam wrapper that kept the case from getting any scratches or blemishes during shipping. I also liked the molded foam on the top and bottom of the case which kept it from getting dented when the mailman throws it into the back of his truck.
