SilverStone Technology is a well known brand name with high quality solutions in the form of everything from cases to case-mounted fan controllers and displays. They have also gone through several iterations of CPU all-in-on liquid cooling solutions with their newest models being part of the Tundra Series. The Tundra Series TD02 liquid cooler is designed to cool CPUs of any make, including the latest offering from both Intel and AMD. The cooler is comprised of a massive 2x120mm radiator attached to a copper base plate with integrated pump. To best measure the TD02's performance, we set it against several other high-performance liquid and air-based coolers. With a retail MSRP of $129.99, the TD02 comes in at the higher end of the all-in-one cooler price range.

The Tundra Series TD02 liquid cooler was designed to keep your precious CPU cool under any conditions. Silverstone obviously did their homework in designing this cooler, integrating a 45mm thick 2x120mm aluminum radiator in with a CPU solid copper base plate enclosed in an all metal shell. This is one of the few all-in-one liquid coolers that I've encountered where the entire CPU block is an all-metal construction. Most are PVC or Acrylic bodies with copper base plates. Further, SilverStone constructed the base place so that the screws securing the copper base plate are secured from the top of the plate, leaving the bottom as an unblemished, solid piece. The base plate itself is machined flat and polished to a mirror-like finish, ensuring optimal mating and heat transfer between the CPU surface and the copper base plate.

Silverstone includes several desing innovations with the Tundra Series of all-in-one coolers that differentiate them from their competition. The CPU block is an all-metal construction with integrated aluminum hold downs for strength and an unblemished copper base. The radiator is constructed of individually soldered aluminum fins, giving the fin pattern a rectangular look instead of the triangular look to the competitors radiators constructed with a single peice of metal bent in a wave-type pattern to fit in between the liquid channels.
