The Seasonic Platinum-1000 power supply is rated for a combined, continuous output power of up to 1,000 watts at 50°C operating temperature (internal case air temperature). The PSU includes universal AC line input (automatically adjusts to the AC line voltage) and active PFC, which makes the unit more environmentally friendly to the local power grid. The Seasonic Platinum-1000 features a single +12V rail that can deliver up to 83A (996W) of power; almost the entire capacity of the unit.

Packaging and Parts
The Seasonic Platinum-1000 power supply arrived securely packed inside a retail box that highlights the unit's main features and specifications. The power supply itself is enclosed in a black velvet bag with a gold Seasonic logo. In addition to the power supply the package includes a power cord, mounting screws, Nylon pouch with modular cables, wire & cable ties, Seasonic case badge, and a multi-language Owner's Manual.
A total of 14 modular cables come neatly packed inside a black and silver nylon storage pouch.









You did an excellent job explaining in simple terms all the parameters tested. This indicates you truly know your stuff. This was a delight to read. I have been using seasonic psu's for quite some time, and have nothing but good things to say about them.

190mm really equals 7.48 inches
The ATX standard 160mm equals 6.3 inches
