Introduction and Features

PC cases, for the most part, stick to basic reference designs that many vendors have adopted and supported over the years. While we’ve seen some creativity being incorporated into production cases, most are not what I would call “totally unique”. Thankfully, the folks over at NZXT are continuing to push the boundaries of conventional PC enclosure design and a perfect example of this is the Panzerbox.

PC cases, for the most part, stick to basic reference designs that many vendors have adopted and supported over the years. While we’ve seen some creativity being incorporated into production cases, most are not what I would call “totally unique”. Thankfully, the folks over at NZXT are continuing to push the boundaries of conventional PC enclosure design, and a perfect example of this is the Panzerbox. This highly-customized case boasts two 190mm fans and one 120mm fan that churn out a combined 300 CFM.

The Panzerbox also has room for custom watercooling solutions with dual radiators as well as enough real estate for a couple 10.5″ graphics cards. This case can also handle up to four hard drives, three optical drives, and large third-party air-cooled heatsinks for gamers and other enthusiasts who like need a stylish case with plenty of expandability options.

One of my favorite features on this case is the removable motherboard tray and hard drive cage (not shown). For years we’ve been pleading with vendors to use removable motherboard trays in all their cases, but the trend hasn’t caught on yet with many mainstream PC case manufacturers.
