There will also be a both with tons of t-shirts and prizes to be won. Enough prizes that Ryan has had to resort to extreme measures to get them all there.

The Tech Report have been posting Computex updates like mad and still are having a hard time keeping up due to the huge volume of information from this years expo. Lynnfield processors and the P55 boards they will run on were showing next to nVIDIA's Tegra processor and Ion platform. Various PSU makers were showing off their 80+ lineups, including this very impressive beast. There were some interesting new tricks with notebooks and the motherboard makers were showing off too.
There is a lot more to see there but don't tire your eyes out as Ryan has a newly minted article on his travels at Computex as well.
"We have even more Computex news and photo galleries from the latter part of the show. Join us for the latest official and unofficial news about Intel's next quad-core processors, Tegra and Ion systems from Nvidia, ultra- efficient power supplies from Seasonic and Enermax, next-gen netbook touchpads, AMD processor core unlocking from Gigabyte, and much more."

The four PC gaming stars of E3 in Futurelooks opinon are a pair of sequels and a pair of new games. The sequels are to Modern Warfare and Bioshock, both games were very well received by fans of their respective genres, Bioshock more for the story and interesting use of Plasmids, CoD: Modern Warfare for its more realistic take on combat. The two new games are very different, one covers the exploits of a famous Navy SEAL; the other is a designed as a multipl

DigiTimes saw a lot of vendors as they toured Computex this year, but the main thing they noticed was the focus on portability. Most of the first part of their look at this trade show is taken up
by mobility products along with some interesting entertainment devices from MSI. The second part features the huge V10 cooler from CoolerMaster and even more mobility products. The digital picture frame with built in scanner is

At first glance, more news about tessellation in games raises very little interest; we have been hearing that it is just around the corner for almost a decade now. A second look reveals that not only are they right this time, but AMD has the fully DX11 compliant 40nm silicon to prove it. Sure the current generation of GPUs from AMD can do tessellation in benchmarks, but no games support the technology. With DX11 we will finally see the arrival of tessellation as well as some other interesting improvements. You can find pict

However as it is midnight there, it is worth taking a break from Computex to see what Ars Technica has in the way of a preview of E3. EA and Activision ar

The MSI table had a lot to show off at the recent CES. There were two new lines of laptops, the X-Slim series, which bears a strong resemblance to the Macbook Air. Thanks to the 8 cell battery, you can expect up to 10 hours of run time before you run out of juice. The G series is the polar opposite, weight and battery life are sacrificed in order to make these notebooks attractive to gamers. Breaking 10,000 in 3DMark06 isn't top shabby for a notebook.
