If you have never heard of Grisoft or Free AVG, you really should check out this Tweaknews review.  Then I would suggest downloading it and giving it a try.  If you really like the free version, there is a version you can purchase for fairly cheap which gives you more options to get support from Grisoft.

Live.com, the new search portal from MSN is out of Beta and on the web, and CNet has been playing with it.  The interface is almost familiar, and it promises to be much more useful than the old MSN search page.  Give it a try for a day and see what you think.

The Fragging Frogs spent a bit of time playing this mod for Unreal Tournament 2005.  It is a very realistic game, you shoot using iron sights, not a magic crosshair, and there are a limited number of the various rifles, so not everyone can be a sniper or heavy gunner.  It has now become it's own standalone game, and Gamehelper takes a look at how it has matured.
