The gang at HardOCP has posted a quickie guide called the “HardOCP 1500” that looks at what system they could buy with a $1500 budget today.  They ended up choosing nearly the same components as I did in our High End System Leaderboard. 
While holding true to our upgradeability that has become the cornerstone of our guides, we have built the ultimate gaming upgrade that $1500 can buy. Our upgrade system offers future moves to more memory, a dual-core processor, and an additional BFGTech GeForce 7800 GTX OC. There isn’t much more to ask other than the obvious. Can I have one?
