VIA Arena represented VIA at an Ultra Mobile PC focused event, called Lunch @ Piero's. From the extremely portable to designs made to fit in your car, the UMPC has come a long way in the past year. There are quite a few shots of the products, which help you get an idea of what the UMPCs released this year will look like.
"It was my great pleasure to attend the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas this year, with my main role as being one
of the VIA staff on hand to answer questions at the Lunch @ Piero's event. In all, VIA demonstrated 8 different design wins as
the main sponsor of Lunch @ Piero's, the now very well known media event held annually during CES. From the first ever UMPC,
the TabletKiosk eo v7110, to the latest premium offering from OQO, VIA's processors were demonstrating that it is possible to
combine performance and compatibility with battery life and small form factors."
