This new LANParty board from DFI, based on the Radeon 200 chipset comes with most of the slots done in bright yellow and orange, possibly a warning sign about the power of this board. According to unnamed motherboard manufacturers it appears that AMD is still on track to release the Turion 64 X2 mobile and Socket-AM2 processors in May.

DigiTimes reports on Cypruss Semiconductors newest invention, a universal clock generator. This will allow mulitiple motherboard manufacturers to make multiple types motherboard chipsets, both Intel and AMD, all with the same clock generator. This will certainly make it easier for them, but it may also improve the ability of BIOS modders to determine the exact values of the clock cycles.
