Remember in the 90's when all the cool people had lights glowing from underneath their cars? Now your motherboard can do the same thing, but with extra colour choices and even different effects! Leaving the RGB disease alone for now, the features on the motherboard are impressive, dual USB 3.1 Type-C ports, support for both M.2 and the Dublin version of storage, PCIe lane switches and even a mulligan button to let you retry a failed POST before having to reset your overclocking settings. The SupremeFX Hi-Fi audio codec on the board supports proper headphone thanks to the fan controller-like expansion which requires a 6 pin PCI-Express power connector to run; it even comes with coasters.
That is more than enough about the features, to see how well it performs you can pop by [H]ard|OCP.
"ASUS celebrates the 10th anniversary of its Republic of Gamers brand in style with the new Rampage V Extreme 10! To properly commemorate its decade of innovation, this motherboard needs to be nothing short of the best motherboard ASUS has ever built and a worthy successor to the Rampage name. "

Don’t lie, Jeremy – we all
Don’t lie, Jeremy – we all know that you have a surreptitious infatuation for RBG LEDs, and your arousal increases exponentially with every RBG LED found on any given motherboard.

No they didn’t throw everything. For starters it does not have 5+ x16 slots.

Why all this hate on RGB,
Why all this hate on RGB, people has been buying mobo’s for the color scheme for years, now they make a black board with RGB lights that can fit any color scheme, now they only need one SKU to fit all, it’s so logical a Vulcan would agree.
If you don’t like the lights, just f*ing turn them off.
Why complain about people’s
Why complain about people’s opinions? Sorry, but the world doesn’t revolve around you and your idea of what is the right balance of just enough “hate on RGB”.
Your comment comes across like this:
“omg, i’m so tired of people giving their opinions on blah blah blah…”
Here’s a tip for you, if you don’t like the opinions that people post, don’t read the comment sections anymore.
But you can complain about my
But you can complain about my opinion right?
Nothing like hypocrite, take your own advice dude!
And it’s the article I’m commenting on, not people’s comments…
Go ahead and get all
Go ahead and get all defensive about it, the other guy is right and pointed out that you were hypocritical in your first comment.
Even if you had put a disclaimer in your first comment that said you were talking about the author’s opinion, then you were still complaining that Jeremy complained about RGB, which makes you still hypocritical.
I was asking a question! Said
I was asking a question! Said nothing about his opinion was wrong or right! Yes a forgot to put a >?< in my first comment, but it should be fairly obvious to anyone with half a brain that it's a question when the sentence starts with a why! It has nothing to do with hypocrisy to ask a question, and I gave my reason why RGB makes sense from a business perspective, more than can be said about you two commenters going after the man instead of debating the subject. None of you can answer it, I'm asking the author of the article, not all you let's all hate RBG bandwagoners. I see this hate directed towards RBG on all review sites and I simply don't understand why they focus so much on it, mobo's has had blinking lights for years. As they say, there is no stupid questions, only stupid answers.
