The Gateway NX860XL doesn't really game well and it's battery life is nothing to brag about. This may sound like a bad thing until you consider it in the light of a desktop replacement for work as opposed to a gaming machine. [H]ard|OCP likes what they received from Gateway, from the product itself to the Tech Support, and call this notebook a winner.
"We were impressed by Gateway's NX860X notebook back in August 2006, so we decided to order the updated XL version with all the
trimmings to see what this gaming laptop can do. Though it's not as fancy as some notebooks from other integrators, it offers
more bang for the buck than any notebook we've evaluated."
