While a lot of notebooks are being announced today featuring the latest Core 2 Duo mobile CPU (which we reviewed here), but the one that jumps out to me is the Dell XPS M1710 with the Core 2 Duo announced by Dell today.

Of course this shouldn’t really be a surprise to many of you since we put a Core 2 Duo into a XPS M1710 almost 1 month ago and found that it worked nearly flawlessly. Core 2 Duo CPUs will be available for the XPS M1210, M1710, M2010, Inspiron E1705, and Precision M90 and M65 desktops.
