Blazenews is reporting this morning that Acer will be launching a new 17" laptop line that will feature Core Duo CPUs and NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 graphics. Toss into the mix Blue Tooth, and a 1.3 MP web cam and you have yourself a very affordable yet fully-featured desktop replacement. The Go 7300 64MB probably won't allow you to play much games, so I think this laptop will appeal to users looking to downsize.
"The Aspire 9400 and 9410 will sport Core Duo processors, Nvidia GeForce Go 7300 64MB GDDR2, 120GB Serial ATA hard drives, dual-channel DDR2 and dual-layer DVD burner. There is also an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcamera, Bluetooth 2.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g."
Other laptop news around the web:
- New Sony VAIO laptops with GeForce Go 7600 GPUs are coming.
- Soccer super star Ronaldinho to endorse Lenovo laptops. First ad will feature Ronaldinho kicking around a Lenovo (not really ;).
- Not to be left out, Voodoo PC has signed Scott Speed the F1 race car driver to pimp their wares.
