Corsair's newest EPP XMS modules, the Twin2X 2048-8500C5, have heat spreaders that are fairly skinny, allowing for installation in motherboards with little free space. With a little over volting, Overclockers Online managed to push the RAM beyond the 1GHz range; Corsair has designed some speedy chips.
"Everything about the Corsair Twin2X 2048-8500 C5 screams power and speed. Right from the on-set with
sleek black heatspreaders that seem smaller and thinner than most, these modules are truly evil and
dark, producing some staggering frequencies... and I couldn't even top the modules out with a 3GHz
processor."
