Kingston are well known to most people, with more than a passing interest in computers, as one of the leading players when it comes to the supply of quality PC memory. But what you may not know is that they also manufacture a diverse range of portable media, from Smart Cards to USB Flash Drives. Its nice to know that one of the better known companies isn't neglecting the growing demand from users of other electronic wizardry such as Digital Cameras, PDA's, and MP3 players. The interest in so-called LifeStyle Computing is on the up, so Legit Reviews have decided to put the Elite Pro 2GB Compact Flash through its paces. Kingston have aimed the Elite Pro at the professional, although  I'm sure the avid enthusiast will be interested too, with its lower power consumption and faster write speeds. The Elite Pro is also available in 256MB, 512MB 1GB and 4GB options.

"Now that CompactFlash (CF) memory has become popular we take a look at Kingston's flash memory line. We take their ElitePro series and see how it performs over the standard series. Is it worth the extra ~10% to get a "high-speed" CF card over the standard? We think it can be justified..."
