On the day of the release of AMD's latest flagship graphics card, the Radeon HD 7970 3GB GHz Edition, Evan Groenke (Desktop Graphics Product Manager) stopped by the PC Perspective offices to sit with us and talk about the new GPU. Well, nice review, just few audio issues at the beginning.
Still, as for the product. Like the performance, really really dislike the power consumption :( I was hoping it was at the same or lower then the stock 7970.
Now the big question is how will Nvidia respond.
Finally. I'm really happy that competition is ramping up in the GPU side.
at about 44 minutes in he says 4.3 billion teraflops. lol i wish. how long will it be until we can get 4.3 billion trillion fLOPS.......
4.3 billion single precision TFLOPS
No the first poster was correct. It's 4.3 TFLOPs or 4.3 trillion FLOPs. It would be 4,300 billion FLOPs.(GigaFLOPs)

■1.01 TFLOPS Double Precision compute power
4.3 billion TFLOPs would be 4.3 zettaFLOPs if I counted correctly.
Ohhh haha, I see what he was saying now! Totally misread it before ;). Yeah, now /that/ would be impressive! :D
Maybe the 7990 was being put on hold to await the arrival of Tahiti 2.
