On the nvidia forums many users are having problems with many driver versions above 314.22 (especially users who do not turn their computers off daily)

I for me personally 326.80 has been the worst for my GTX460. every version past 314.22 has had major stability issues, but 326.80 = very frequent driver restarting making it nearly impossible to game for more than an hour before the driver decides to restart it's self. There are also many random system hangs that last a few seconds.

Overall, it is best to hold off until nvidia decided to look into these stability issues. I have been using their driver feedback page and they have not responded to any of my reports. they are starting to be just as bad as ATi when it comes to doing something about driver issues. (PS recently had a change to test a radoen 3850 (old card) and they still have not fixed the opengl texture memory issue.

So nvidia still has some catching up to do in the race towards the bottom when it comes to driver support, but they are picking up speed.

I've been gaming on them for about 8 hours and its been smooth so far. These drivers are supposed to fix a 36h bug that a lot of users have been having. they are listed as Beta for a reason. Since you are using a 400 series, most them don't have optimizations to help that gpu in new games.

New driver is causing resolution issues for me. When I try to run at 1920x1200 120hz everything goes purple. And 1920x1080 120hz doesn't even work. Had to go back to the last driver.
