I just built an AMD AM3+ computer using a Gigabyte board and 8gig of gaming ram. I would love 16gb of ram so I can get a blu-ray burner a new monitor to do dual screens and a SSD to max out my system. The Case I use has a window and I am looking for LED fans and components like this ram. I want my computer to be quietly sounding and to be cool looking with LED lights. I agree with Ryan about his pick and that you can get new lights for the memory

I'm planning on using this kit in my new casemod project: converting a guitar amp into a case.
First PC Perspective Rocks, great podcast. These would be used on a future build, acquiring components slowly, but surely. Build projected for first quarter 2013. Any assistance in acquiring components or donations to help make the build earlier will be greatly appreciated. I am 61 years old, but still tinkering with computers since the late 1970's. Proud owner of three Hackintosh units, but the curious thing is all have different brands of motherboard; the first build has a Intel DG31PR was built on 09 with Leopard, Second build has a Gigabyte G41M-ES2L V1.1 was built on 2010 and the last came out of a trashed Motherboard from a UpGrade a ECS 945GCT-M1333 (V3.0) built on 2011, All are actually running OSX Lion 10.7.5 with out no problems most have wireless capabilities plus bluetooth, so what can I say I am still a tinkerer at heart... 73

i would just replace my G.SKILL Sniper Low Voltage Series(they do not OC very well) with this beauties, i never win so i wouldn't be surprise if i didn't win. i still love the website and podcast.

The Corsair ram would be used to upgrade the ram I am using now and possibly be the first step to a new intel machine.
I hate facebook. I like how companies have figured out how to spam ads for free in our facebook content basically putting comercials between the only interaction I have with family. The only reason I use facebook is to keep track of my choice for a pool of organs that I could be genetically compatible with incase I ever need one. I specifically had an exact number of, of course, male children to increase my odds of compatibility. I really didn't like the whole sister thing because of defects and all but that is the donor hosts problem most likely but it does increase the odds of compatibilty. I do like winning cool stuff even if I don't really need it. But who can't use glowing ram. Besides I love everything Corsair. If you think this post is creepy, it isn't nearly as creepy as Corsair ads poping up in my facebook stream.
