Battlefield: Bad Company is an attempt to bring the Battlefield series to the console as a single player experience.  Gamepyre did have some fun playing through it and discovering rare collectible weapons, but they also felt very disappointed by the multiplayer experience.  There is only one multiplayer mode, and it is not Conquest, not is there any way to play the single player campaign co-operatively.
“While the Battlefield games have been hit and miss over the years, the choice to take this game into single player is definitely a good move on both EA and Dice’s part. The game has translated well, despite its flaws. This game may not be as wonderful as other sites make it out to be, but it’s still a fun game worthy of a Gamer’s Choice Silver at least a rental before you decide whether or not to buy it. There’s a lot of fun to be had on this disc, although a standard Battlefield style conquest mode would have made Bad Company truly worth the price asked. ”
