An ATI VP gave a ten minute presentation on what the ATI-AMD merger will mean to consumers.  Head to [H]ard|OCP to find out what was said.

"Pat Moorehead, VP of Advanced Marketing, gave a ten minute talk to a few members of the press on

Tuesday at the 4X4 'Quadfather' showing located at the AMD home offices in Sunnyvale, CA. Pat's talk,

while still being given from an AMD marketer, has more than a few points in it that addressed some

real concern that many gaming and hardware enthusiasts might have. He touched on when we would

actually see benefits of the merger, the reality of combo CPU/GPU packages, and he laid out the

specific goals of the merger."
