As you can no doubt tell, PC Perspective got a HUGE and much needed facelift last weekend to what we are internally calling "PC Perspective v4.0".  I know there are still some kinks to work out and we are actively addressing any feedback from our readers in this comment thread.

But we want to celebrate the launch of the new site in style!!  Some of our site sponsors have very generously offered up some prizes for us to give out throughout the coming days...

The fifth set of prizes is a pair of Thermaltake Max 5G USB 3.0 external hard drive enclosures!

It has lights, it has fans AND it runs at USB 3.0 speeds.  What do you have to do to win this wonderful piece of hardware?

Couldn't be easier: post a comment in this post thanking Thermaltake for its sponsorship of PC Perspective as well as your plans for using such a cool USB 3.0 external drive dock.  What other features would you like to see on external enclosures like this?

You should probably have a registered account or at least be sure you include your email address in the appropriate field so we can contact you!

We will pick the winners tomorrow and move on to the next hardware that finds its way to PC Perspective offices.  Good luck and thanks for reading!!

Thank you Thermaltake for sponsoring PC Perspective.
The drive enclosure would be used on my external harddrive in which the USB 3.0 will really boost the speed! :D
I hope benchmarking will be awesome! Yeah!
A cool feature would be Green/Red LED for displaying Free/Occupied space! And how about a splendid logo for gamers!
TTI has yet again upped the ante!

Thanx Thermaltake for the contest and your support throughout the industry!! As far as what I'd like to see on these external emclosures, is like to see a double 5" unit setup for a desktop size hdd *and* a desktop size optical!!! No one has one out there and the ability to do both like that would be awesome, especially since the newer mobo's are dropping legacy support for pci,IDE,etc... Anyway, that's my idea and good luck everyone with the contest!!

Thanks for supporting PC Perspective Thermaltake. I really like this external Enclosure. The most attractive design elements of this unit are the USB 3.0 and the cooling fans. Nothing else, that I'm aware of, even comes close to being this slick!

Thermaltake is da bomb baby..being serious..thanks for sponsoring PC Perspective..they deserve it!! I would absolutely love this enclosure since I have an old 160GB IO Gear USB device that I'm still using with my new USB 3.0 Gigabyte X58A-UD3R MOBO!! This would make my backups so much faster and the color/design scheme perfectly matches my blue led lights on my Coolermaster CM 690 case and fans! Some features would love to see is to have all three connectors available, USB 3, eSata & Fireware for more compatability!!

Thanks Thermaltake for your support and sponsoring a great giveaway, I would use it for picture and video storage on our home network and anything else that would fit as my only system drive is 80gb and almost full lol. Something I would like to see is a wirelessdrive enclouser so its easy to access and dosent have to be stationary and could also be easley transported to a different location to share memories and other stuff with.

Nice Thermaltake, real nice. Your support makes me more willing to bite the bullet on an armor a30.

I really like it when external enclosures are shaped to work well in tower form. I rarely ever buy just one enclosure. I usually end up with between 3 to 5, neatly stacked on one another or standing side by side, which ever takes up less space.

It would be cool if there were some modular symbiosis between drive enclosures like this and the towers you make.

Thanks to Thermaltake for sponsoring PCPer. If I win the Thermaltake Max 5G USB 3.0 Hard Drive Enclosure, I would use it to house a 2 TB hard drive and use them for backing up my blu-ray movies. A feature I would like to see on external enclosures is an LED screen on the front.

Thanks Thermaltake for offering up some awesome loot. Only other feature (which I didn't see listed) was an on/off switch for the drives and eSATA connection.

I would use it as an external backup for family pictures... been needing one. It'll also give me an opportunity to use the new USB3 ports on the new family laptop. Thanks Tt for continuing for providing options for PC users.

Tanks for supporting the Pcper team. This enclosure looks good as new site's design. With the trusted cooling system, this enclosure would be lovely as a NAS and pogoplug like, on the picture don't looks very portable. Usually the Nas on the market don't offer this level of cooling.
