As you can no doubt tell, PC Perspective got a HUGE and much needed facelift over the weekend to what we are internally calling "PC Perspective v4.0". I know there are still some kinks to work out and we are actively addressing any feedback from our readers in this comment thread.
But we want to celebrate the launch of the new site in style!! Some of our site sponsors have very generously offered up some prizes for us to give out throughout the coming days...
The second prize is in fact PRIZES since Corsair is going to be handing out a Hydro H60 CPU water cooler to TWO lucky PC Perspective readers!
What do you have to do to win this wonderful piece of hardware?
Couldn't be easier: post a comment in this post thanking Corsair for its sponsorship of PC Perspective and maybe include a thought or two on the new site design (compliments, constructive criticism, hate filled monologues, whatever). You should probably have a registered account or at least be sure you include your email address in the appropriate field so we can contact you!
We will pick the winners tomorrow and move on to the next hardware that finds its way to PC Perspective offices. Good luck and thanks for reading!!

Thanks Corsair! Pcper keep up the great work!
this is pretty beast!
Thanks Corsair for supporting my favorite Tech website!
Constructive comments:
1. Can the images in the flash animation on the home page be higher resolutions? Just a bit grainy.
2. Can the structure of the news blurbs be more defined? More defined divisions between posts and between information within a post, like title+subject+tags+date, then a small division, then the post and similar links, then a small division, source of info, then a larger division before the next post.I think that would look more professional.
Thanks,
Justin
Congrats Corsair for picking this great website to sponsor!
Your audience will be hugely appreciate.
Thank you Corsair! Always a class act with great products!
Thanks Corsair for such great products.
I'm liking green theme. putting me in an android mood
Thanks so much to corsair for helping out PC Per. as to the website, i really would like it if the colors were toned down a bit. the old website was way less flashy, and i liked it. no problem though. give me a week, and i won't give a rat's posterior.
My thanks to Corsair for sponsoring PC Perspective. Nice prizes.
Now, about the site... I don't like it... I imagine that you don't want to hear that but what can I say... you asked for it. A few of the problems I see just by quickly browsing a page or two are: the layout is way too crowded, the fonts are too small in certain areas, the actual graphic design looks dated (it's supposed to look new, but it looks like the old days PCPer), the shadows in the design are a bit too strong, thre are too many lines, too many rectangles, the areas are a little too strongly defined (borders, high contrast colors etc.). Because of these problems the usability of the site is suffering. I agree it was a little dull before, and it was getting old, but it's actually worse when it comes to using the site, and it's not just a question of it being new and me not being accustomed to it.
A few more to the point issues: First one is the 5 slot article selector on the homepage. It didn't come out very well, I can see you tried something clever and I get the idea, but it doesn't work too well, the scaling of the main images is sometimes very wrong. Second one is the Latest news area, the actual titles need to be separated more clearely (I know it goes against what I said about the general layout, but this is where separation feels like it's needed). And the last one (for now) is that the actual backgound of the text areas (content) needs to be pure white, so the review images can blend in (and speaking of that, you need to create a small photo studio with white background and good lighting for the review images).
And that concludes my rant for the day. Also if this contest is not open worldwide, I still want to thank Corsair, just don't drop my name in the hat. If it is just send me one of these coolers.
Even if I was a little harsh, I want you to know that I will keep reading the articles and watching the podcasts even if the website looks this crappy.
Thx. (plz don't hit me with teh banhammer)
No ban hammers quite yet. :)
There are still some things to work out, so we'll read over what you said and see what we think as well.

liking the pcper design too.
Corsair is great
Great looking piece of hardware Corsair. The new site for PCPER really displays well. i find it so much easier to navigate the site and have spent more time than ever here since the facelift.
I use Corsair whenever possible. They make great products
Thank you Corsair for your continuing support of great sites like PCPerspective it is much appreciated by many.
Regarding the new site layout, it might be nice if you slowed down the, for lack of a technical term, "five highlighted items/articles/post". Simply scrolls by too quickly to read and slowing it down would facilitate that and not give up the ever precious wandering eye. thank you.
Gotmilk!
I love these things.
I love these things.
I've got the H70 in my gaming rig but could use a 2nd in my folding rig. Thanks for all the support at PC Per and your great products.
Awesome Corsair thanks. I wonder if this would be a good replacement to my Zalman 9900A? Sweet
Corsair, Thank you not only for sponsoring one of the most informative web-sites of its kind, but also for marketing products which stand head-and-shoulders above the competition.
As with all new web-designs, the changes will take some time to get used to, but a brief trial already shows improvement in ease of access to desired articles. Well done.
Corsair thanks for your sponsorship of pcper.
The site looks great and I love it.
It's hip and the layout is very friendly.
Good job all.
Congrats to the lucky winners.
Tons of thanks to Corsair for their support of a great website/podcast.
Ha ha ha, wow. My first water cooler! Not only that but the first computer component I have ever won!

Thank you Corsair for sponsoring a great site and love the products you guys have, and as far as the site how about not making me leave the page I'm on when I click a link to go to a different site.
