PCPer v4.0 Giveaway: A Pair of Corsair Hydro H60 Water Coolers!

Subject: General Tech | April 19, 2011 - 02:50 PM |
Tagged: hydro, h60, giveaway, corsair, contest

As you can no doubt tell, PC Perspective got a HUGE and much needed facelift over the weekend to what we are internally calling "PC Perspective v4.0".  I know there are still some kinks to work out and we are actively addressing any feedback from our readers in this comment thread.

But we want to celebrate the launch of the new site in style!!  Some of our site sponsors have very generously offered up some prizes for us to give out throughout the coming days...

The second prize is in fact PRIZES since Corsair is going to be handing out a Hydro H60 CPU water cooler to TWO lucky PC Perspective readers!

What do you have to do to win this wonderful piece of hardware?

Couldn't be easier: post a comment in this post thanking Corsair for its sponsorship of PC Perspective and maybe include a thought or two on the new site design (compliments, constructive criticism, hate filled monologues, whatever).  You should probably have a registered account or at least be sure you include your email address in the appropriate field so we can contact you!

We will pick the winners tomorrow and move on to the next hardware that finds its way to PC Perspective offices.  Good luck and thanks for reading!!

Well first "Thank you Corsair for the sponsorship!" and second "I started visiting this site about half a year ago. I liked the layout. Now... well, it has not been up long so I'm still getting used to it but it look nice and clean and a lot more 'modern'. So I think I like it... in time! What I really don't like ist the changing news-field on the 'home'-page. The way the pictures blend into oneanother remindes me to much of ads. I don't like all that blinking stuff. Besides that keep up the good work and thanx for a great site!" New Dude

Corsair, another awesome company that make great products! Thank you Corsair for supporting PC Perspective! I actually am liking the color scheme more and more. At first, when I saw the site redesign, I did not care much for the color scheme. However each subsequent time I have visited the site, the color scheme grew on me.

Thank you Corsair & PCPer. Keep up the good work. Just bought this for my new build. With the new redesign I don't know why this is considered to be worst than the H70.

Thanks to Corsair for sponsoring the PC Per podcast and all of their work!

Great products, as I currently use a 700D, TX650 and an H50. But I wouldn't mind upgrading to the H60! :)

Still perusing the new site layout, but still impressed with what I'm seeing so far.

Thanks Corsair ...I hope Ryan doesn't pick MrBlack from the new forum because I can't sign in with that name (I guess somebody new stole it while I wasn't looking)

Though I can still sign into the old forum as MrBlack.
I had to create a "MrBlack2" account for the new forum - arggg!

Thanks Corsair for the sponsorship of PC Perspective! I'm a longtime user of Corsair products (PSU, SSD, RAM) and I love the design and quality of your brand.

a tweek that you still need to rub out on the site is that when you go to the form section it defaults back to the old site and the logs you out from your account. but when you click back home you are then again logged back in.

Thanks Corsair for sponsoring this wonderful website PC Perspective. It is my go to site for anything related to computer hardware. The website is much improved and much easier to find what you are looking for. Good job. The password reminder feature doesn't seem to work since I didn't get an e-mail to reset my password!

Corsair, thanks for sponsoring PCPer. I've had various Corsair products and have always been impressed. Never water cooled anything, but maybe this will be my opportunity.

Thank you Corsair for making perhaps the best line of 80+ modular PSUs on the market. No one else is building something on par with the quality and features that actual computer builders and enthusiasts want like you guys are :)

//Ryas feels so dirty for kissing butt, it really is a good series of PSUs though.

I recently built a system using Corsair memory, their 50 series water cooler and the 700 series case and a Corsair power supply. Been very happy with the the equipment. By the way, I seem to have a problem logging in on the new Home Page.....no problem logging in on the forum page. New look is great, thanks.

Thanks Corsair! I've been using your memory modules for years and never had a single issue with them, would love to have an excuse to step into the world of water cooling! As for another piece of feedback on the site design, how about some simple formatting buttons on the comment window, for bold/italic etc?

Thank you Corsair for sponsoring PC Perspective! The site looks good, just as I would like to manually/automatically expand the 16:9 display format, is more ergonomic!
