PCPer v4.0 Giveaway: A Pair of Corsair Hydro H60 Water Coolers!

Subject: General Tech | April 19, 2011 - 11:50 AM |
Tagged: hydro, h60, giveaway, corsair, contest

As you can no doubt tell, PC Perspective got a HUGE and much needed facelift over the weekend to what we are internally calling "PC Perspective v4.0".  I know there are still some kinks to work out and we are actively addressing any feedback from our readers in this comment thread.

But we want to celebrate the launch of the new site in style!!  Some of our site sponsors have very generously offered up some prizes for us to give out throughout the coming days...

The second prize is in fact PRIZES since Corsair is going to be handing out a Hydro H60 CPU water cooler to TWO lucky PC Perspective readers!

What do you have to do to win this wonderful piece of hardware?

Couldn't be easier: post a comment in this post thanking Corsair for its sponsorship of PC Perspective and maybe include a thought or two on the new site design (compliments, constructive criticism, hate filled monologues, whatever).  You should probably have a registered account or at least be sure you include your email address in the appropriate field so we can contact you!

We will pick the winners tomorrow and move on to the next hardware that finds its way to PC Perspective offices.  Good luck and thanks for reading!!

I never buy anything but corsair power supplies, if the quality of this watercooler is the same as my 850 watt psu then it is a sure bet. I actually have an H50 on my wishlist at Amazon. I dig the new setup of pcper....although I liked the old site too. My only request is to make it more mobile device friendly. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Corsair for providing us with giveaway material. I have yet to own a liquid cooler but enjoy your dominator series memory. Thanks again PcPerspective for this chance to win.

Thanks for the multi language manuals and support the site.

Thanks Corsair for supporting PC Perspective! The top tab bar can be a bit confusing (but I may just be confused easily). For example - I click on 'reviews' and my first instinct is to click on a category link directly below the tabs that takes me to news links, instead of the category links a little farther down that takes me to the actual sub-category.

Hey, the new site is definitely interesting and new. And I could definitely use one of those coolers.

Thank you Corsair for sponsorship of PC Perspective.
The first impact, visual impact, is well received. It remains the problem with fonts.

Thanks Corsair for the support of this website. I have made three recent computer builds all with 1 or 2 corsair products in them and I can happily say I have not had a problem with any corsair product yet. In fact even though it took around 9 weeks, I did finally receive my mail in rebate off of some ram sticks I bought.

Thanks again Corsair and PCPER

Thank you Corsair for sponsorship of PC Perspective.
A good impression is the contrast of colors and the site's tabs dividing which is intuitive and pleasant.

Thanks Corsair for strog support of PC Perspective.
As I previously noted, it is routine work to improve site usability.

Hey Corsair, thanks a bunch for sponsoring my favorite tech site. PC perspective is looking great. I am really glad we can post comments now.

Thank you Corsair for your sponsorship of PC Per. One of those beauties would look great right underneath my Corsair PS (TX650W)

The small font size problem too....

Thanks for the sponsorship Corsair, maybe you can sponsor me as I go to college?

The site design is good. I run no-script and can still use the site normally. The little ticker thing on the front moves too fast for me to read it all.

I believe that I could find a spot for this really fine cooler

Thank you Corsair for incredible giveaway from PC Perspective.
Considering that you have two great contests, I don't have really what to remarks.

Why yes I could definitely use that. Thank you Corsair, ohh so much, for your kind sponsorship of PCPer (might I suggest sponsoring me directly as it will be of more benefit to the world) and thank you for my current psu (which, regrettably for me, I did not win but bought with cash).

As for the site, the main page is annoying (same goes for anandtech). The animated window in most cases is a needless cpu hog, fortunately I have no-script but that makes the main page even more useless. So I just keep 2 tabs open one with news and one with reviews, which is reasonably usable but the long posts make it easy to miss something.
If you ask me techreport has the best design atm (small pictures, short descriptions, easy to see if there's something new).

Thanks for sponsoring PCPer. I love corsair products, always among the finest in quality and design. Really happy with my Obsidian 700D and 750TX!

Thx Corsair 4 sponsorship. BTW page looks cool but would be better if it were optimized for hirez monitors too.

Thank you Corsair for sponsorship of PC Perspective.
My biggest problem is wide-type display of the site - it is easier to read on a widescreen.

The site is well designed and I have not encountered any particular problems in navigation.
Thanks Corsair for sponsoring PCPerspective.
