As you can no doubt tell, PC Perspective got a HUGE and much needed facelift over the weekend to what we are internally calling "PC Perspective v4.0". I know there are still some kinks to work out and we are actively addressing any feedback from our readers in this comment thread.
But we want to celebrate the launch of the new site in style!! Some of our site sponsors have very generously offered up some prizes for us to give out throughout the coming days...

Couldn't be easier: post a comment in this post thanking OCZ for its sponsorship of PC Perspective and maybe include a thought or two on the new site design (compliments, constructive criticism, hate filled monologues, whatever). The new PCPer website is far more streamlined and user friendly. The headlines and news story are now more organized and easier to find and read. With time, I think users will benefit from a more integrated experience offered by this new design in serving all the rich content from PCPer.

Thanks a lot, OCZ! As for the website, I think having the login box to one side (or a javascript dropdown) would be better than having it inline with the rest of the sections. Right now, there's a large amount of blank space to the right of the login box that could be better utilized.

The new site is WICKED! Love the color, style, and functionality! Great design work from all involved! Would be nice to have an easy to see one click link to the latest PC per podcast. Perhaps you could also slow down the page change in the main window as it cycles too fast to read through. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to win an OCZ Technology Vertex 2 120GB SSD! As for the new website, I'm still getting used to it but my first impression of the redesign is that it's a little laggy. The lag's not terrible but there seems to be a sec or two for which my system becomes unresponsive when I initially load the page. That said, it's still much more responsive than the old website.
