As you can no doubt tell, PC Perspective got a HUGE and much needed facelift recently to what we are internally calling "PC Perspective v4.0".  I know there are still some kinks to work out and we are actively addressing any feedback from our readers in this comment thread.

But we want to celebrate the launch of the new site in style!!  Some of our site sponsors have very generously offered up some prizes for us to give out throughout the coming days...

The sixth prize is truly a killer motherboard, the ASUS Maximus IV Extreme P67 B3!

This motherboard from ASUS has just about anything an enthusiast could ask for including:

  • ROG Connect: Plug and Overclock - Tweak it the hardcore way!
  • ROG iDirect : Tune your PC from your iPhone or iPad now!
  • RC Bluetooth: Smashes through all the barriers of conventional overclocking!
  • Extreme Engine Digi+: Smashes through all the barriers of conventional overclocking!
  • USB BIOS Flashback: Refresh the BIOS can never be that easy

How can you win this wonderful piece of engineering that currently sells for more than $360???

Couldn't be easier: post a comment in this post thanking ASUS for its sponsorship of PC Perspective as well as any ideas you have for the NEXT super-motherboard.  What other features would you like to see from ASUS?

You should probably have a registered account or at least be sure you include your email address in the appropriate field so we can contact you!

We will pick the winners soon and move on to the next hardware that finds its way to PC Perspective offices.  Good luck and thanks for reading!!

Thanks ASUS!
Maybe next time you could upgrade your audiochip to say... a Creative one (X-Fi) for better sound and EAX-support.
Thanx again.

Thank you to ASUS for helping out with an awesome contest and for supporting PC Perspective. Going forward how about replacing on-board audio with a bundled add-in card for discrete audio?

Thanks ASUS for all the awesome stuff you've made. Made my first build run like a breeze :) honestly there isnt much else to add to this board, but there is always room for improvement, you just have to find it.

ASUS you are awesome.

And you know that anyone who knows anything has PC Perspective as their first port of call when learning about this stuff, so thanks for your support ASUS.

For the next board, i think you need Super Pipes.

Thanks Asus for being a sponsor!

I would like to see more features similar to the OC Genie function on MSI's boards. Simple overclocking is always good!

I have built many pcs over the years and have always used Asus boards, and have never been let down. Thanks for your support and keep up the good work. One thing I would like to see in future motherboards is lower prices! I know they have lot more features now but when mobos get into the $400 plus range its just out of my reach.

Great motherboards, love the new pc perspective look.

Now that motherboard makers are mounting the sata ports sideways, now can someone do the same with the 24pin power supply, would make the wiring job that much cleaner.

Thank you ASUS for all you do and PC Perspective for the nice updated look. Hopefully in the future the prices will start to dip down on prices like this. I like the feature to be able to tune my PC from my iPhone. Although, I hope that none of those butt dials would cause a problem, lol.

Thank you ASUS for sponsorship! ASUS is really great and it`s my number 1 on the market! Next super ASUS motherboard should definitely have a wlan adapter included, onboard infrared and bluetooth, easy overclock button for lazy guys, maybe PCIEx 3.0 and some onboard charger for phones or mp3 players. What do you think?

Thanks Asus! If I win this, I'll be replacing my 4+ year old PC!

What's up with Captcha? It took me over five dozen tries to get this in???
