Less public relation
Less public relation stunts
More low prices
Unless all this showcasing amounts to lower GPU prices I don’t care.
I suspect they will bump up the price of these GPUs to maintain their company profits and add a few extra $$$ to the MSRP to pay for all this crud.
A good ol press release and low prices with decent performance increases are far better.
You call those stars? lol The
You call those stars? lol The only worthwhile reason to watch this would be to see if there is any advancement in gaming. But since NV wants a locked down PC gaming ecosystem, which pcper seems willing to endorse, I wouldn’t give this event 2 minutes out of my day.

Once again NVIDIA uses
Once again NVIDIA uses propaganda to woo enthusiasts while fucking us on the price of the 980. We enthusiasts, not the mobile market, keeps these greedy fuckers in the black. With all their hype about the tegra, they are nothing without us. Wish we could agree to put the hammer down on these guys.
Stop kissing Tom’s ass. I can’t believe I am the only one upset that the 980 is rumored to be priced at $599. It should be $400 at most.
This is pretty mediocre
This is pretty mediocre lineup, and hardware looks overpriced.
Pass…
Will these new cards be able
Will these new cards be able to run 3 gsync panels in surround from only one card? Based upon what we know so far, that is the only interesting thing I can see, otherwise a fairly unexciting lineup again.

True that!
Still this is a mediocre GPU at best, waiting for benchmarks to see.
Hope the full GM200 will be worthwhile or gonna wait for pascal. No need to update as the only game for PC that is really looking good is The Witcher 3 and that is next year lol. Rest is all console ports and garbage.

Don’t forget playing $799
Don’t forget playing $799 Russian ruolette with properly working G-Sync monitor.
Even the one Tom showcased Ryan in this article

The center monitor had horrible bleeding coming from right to left. Which is one of the issues many buyers are reporting in various forums.

Ohh! Don’t forget the AMD red team! They will be there too for some trolling!
Seems fine to me. The more
Seems fine to me. The more publicity and promotion behind PC gaming and conventions and gatherings, the more interest in PC gaming. The more interest in PC gaming, the more rig-building. The more rig-building, the more product purchasing (across the board). The more product purchasing, the cheaper the products (hopefully) and the bigger the advancements.
Also, how the hell can you say Kurt Sutter (SoA, The Shield) and Grant Imahara aren’t celebrities? Even Jason Mewes, for that matter. I mean, who exactly do you expect them to be able to pull for a “video game hardware gathering”?
