Part of the lukewarm reception that AMD has received from their introduction of the Phenom processor was the fact that you couldn't buy one.   We all know the other reason.  The good news is that it is slowly starting to appear, so if you do have an AM2(+) system that needs an upgrade, you can actually buy one.  If you can overclock the CPU, you may get some better performance out of it, assuming your OS let's you.  Of course you can always switch to Linux, and vote on the distros that you prefer as well as seeing who else uses them.

Make yourself a turkey sammich and dig in!
