Fresh out of Denmark is the Danamics LMX Superleggera, a heatsink which uses liquid metal and an electromagnetic pump to move heat around as opposed to the more common wicked heatpipes that we see.  This is their second try at this type of cooler, the first one was prohibitively expensive and did not give an impressive performance. Their second attempt at producing one of these types of coolers is under review at X-bit Labs, it costs half as much as the first version and the performance is on par with high end air coolers.  Unfortunately those air coolers cost less than $100, have better mounting plates and adjustable fans, it looks like it is back to the drawing board for Danamics again.

“Today we are going to talk about a very interesting new cooler that uses pipes filled with liquid metal and an electromagnetic pump. Read more in our article!”
