Albatron felt brave enough to show off a monitor and driver that isn’t quite ready for prime time, but will be great when it is.  Windows 7 will introduce multi-touch input, a la iTouch and iPhone, allowing much better control over what you are doing on a touch screen.  Albatron’s R&D team didn’t feel like waiting, so they created a driver that will allow their 22″, 1650 x 1080 display to accept multi-touch on Vista.  TweakTown was there with a camera, check out what they saw.

“”If you recall a movie called “Minority Report”, this tech will blow you away. In the upcoming Windows 7 operating system, Microsoft will introduce multi-touch finally that basically allows multiple input detection where as XP and Vista is still single.

Albatron had a special driver made for Vista which allows multi-touch and while it is nowhere near fine tuned at this stage, it does work surprisingly well even now.”
