SLI my 680 :)

February 5, 2013 | 01:07 PM - Posted by jaj1

With one of these PSU's I could add another GPU to my system.
Shoutout to Seasonic and PCPer for a another good promotion.

February 5, 2013 | 01:08 PM - Posted by David (not verified)

I'd be able to game with higher resolution. I'd like to purchase another video card and with my current 550w I'm running low on power, this would be a great start to my newish build.

February 5, 2013 | 01:08 PM - Posted by Stephen Brooks (not verified)

I will be able to add a better video card.

February 5, 2013 | 01:10 PM - Posted by Gordon (not verified)

With one of these I'd finally be able to upgrade to that gtx 670 I've been drooling over. Love the site, and love listening to Ryan on twitch! Cheers!

February 5, 2013 | 01:15 PM - Posted by Jangsterish (not verified)

Excellent choice for expansion and cable management. Having never had to use anything over 650W, I'd stick another GTX 660 into my motherboard and add a few more hard drives with this PSU. No question that M12II's modularity would be icing on the cake!

February 5, 2013 | 01:15 PM - Posted by leobiendurana

I would be able to build another system! Missing out a few components, TBH. Any Seasonic PSUs will truly count!

February 5, 2013 | 01:16 PM - Posted by Ethaniel (not verified)

I would be able to better enjoy gaming as I'd be able to go SLI :-)

February 5, 2013 | 01:20 PM - Posted by Blake S (not verified)

This is fantastic! I would definitely be able to better power plenty of hard drives for a massive RAID with one of these PSU's.

February 5, 2013 | 01:22 PM - Posted by Gunbuster

I would be able to add a second GTX 670!

February 5, 2013 | 01:22 PM - Posted by flynn greenberg (not verified)

for me gaming is the key it is something you need a fantastic psu for

February 5, 2013 | 01:23 PM - Posted by LiVECrys

If I had one of these awesome psu's I could upgrade my video card setup to SLI as well as add a few more hard drives. That would really make my work station awesome.

February 5, 2013 | 01:27 PM - Posted by Mickey (not verified)

I would be able to build my new system.

February 5, 2013 | 01:29 PM - Posted by Nehalem (not verified)

If I had one of these awesome PSU's, I could finally upgrade my video card.

February 5, 2013 | 01:33 PM - Posted by Shashwat (not verified)

Having this psu will free my mind from any power related bottlenecks. This will also pave for easy future upgrades without even giving a second thought about power restriction.

And most importantly being an 80+ certified means better efficiency which provides stable power ensuring safety of my system (from noise ripples)

In a nutshell this smps is like a complete life insurance of my system.

February 5, 2013 | 01:49 PM - Posted by Grommet (not verified)

I would be able to add a second video card to my system

February 5, 2013 | 01:49 PM - Posted by YTech2 (not verified)

For sure, this will be great for my very first Gaming/Multi-media PC build which I plan to complete in 2013. Any goodies will surely help the budget (currently not good).

The 850 would probably be the one I am aiming at to support 2 GPU and 1 AVC (primary watt consumers).

Best of luck everyone!

February 5, 2013 | 01:49 PM - Posted by imagination

Step 1 all done, well definitely i could change my current psu and i can finally play some games. Don`t have a good psu to power up a nice 7970 so if i would win one of these beauties i could be covered by Seasonic and it would really help me.
Thanks for the chance. Cross my fingers for this one.

Thanks again.

February 5, 2013 | 02:00 PM - Posted by Neon

I've an older case that has a design I like, but it has a 400W PSU that is limited to 20-pin ATX power, so the motherboard can't be upgraded until the PSU gets upgraded. A new PSU would allow me to keep the case that I like, and do a full hardware upgrade.

February 5, 2013 | 02:01 PM - Posted by Marian (not verified)

I would be able to do a better cable management, so that the system will have a better airflow, becoming more efficient. And because of the 80PLUS certification, which helps with the power conversion, wasting less electric energy.

February 5, 2013 | 02:02 PM - Posted by Raven6

i would not have to keep patching up the connectors on it. my current one for some reason have to either glue, tie, or solder it to keep it running its an old 750w C*****R. i could add 2 more hard rives that would be great. also would love to try out modular. would help make my case look neater, cleaner easier to dust out.

February 5, 2013 | 02:06 PM - Posted by Dennis Halling (not verified)

This will allow me to clean up the wiring in my server due to the modular nature of the supply and allow me to run more drives.

February 5, 2013 | 02:07 PM - Posted by mAxius

in for it its my bday afterall

February 5, 2013 | 02:07 PM - Posted by artins90 (not verified)

With a new PSU I would be able to improve the cable management in my case since the 2 four pin connectors, which supply extra power for the cpu on my gene-z, have the cables too short to make them pass behind the motherboard so I had to make them pass over the gpu and they are hanging over the cpu fan which is kinda dangerous, the fact the they touch the side and a little of the backplate of my gpu is also preoccupying I'm afraid they could melt and short out. I'm also looking forward to AMD's HD 89xx series and having a better PSU would be way better, I'm not even sure if a 7970 would run with only 500W PSU.

Here are some pictures:

February 5, 2013 | 02:10 PM - Posted by mjaybird (not verified)

my old power supply just died so I could use this in my new machine and the one I have now in my old. I could upgrade my video to 2 AMD cards with a power supply like this. I hope I win something from Ryan, I have never won anything from PCPER

February 5, 2013 | 02:11 PM - Posted by abel

This would go a ways towards pc daughters PC NOT going thru other brand PSUs like water under a bridge!

February 5, 2013 | 02:15 PM - Posted by batfink2001

It would allow me to really upgrade my Graphics Card !!! :-)

February 5, 2013 | 02:18 PM - Posted by jtps (not verified)

Definitely beats the hell out of my pos power supply.

February 5, 2013 | 02:22 PM - Posted by slugbug55

With a new Seasonic PSU I could upgrade from my current ULTRA branded power supply. Need I say more. I already like and follow on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.

February 5, 2013 | 02:23 PM - Posted by Sandy Bruce (not verified)

If I won the Seasonic M12II SS-850AM or 750AM I would be able to add a water cooling system and overclock my CPU. I would feel more comfortable doing it with a solid well know PSU then a lesser brand name. Not saying there is anything wrong with the psu I have now, I just doing think it can handle the stress I am wanting to put on it. I have already had one psu blowup and kill my system. Not trying to go for number 2. I need rock solid reliability. Seasonic is none as the best in the business. A name I can trust. Help me reach peak performance. Thanks PCper and Seasonic!

February 5, 2013 | 02:48 PM - Posted by Christopher (not verified)

Need to update this PC or will build a new one.

February 5, 2013 | 03:44 PM - Posted by dacul

February 5, 2013 | 03:50 PM - Posted by Roooker1 (not verified)

I would be able to get a second GPU and run the latest games in 1080p :)

February 5, 2013 | 04:02 PM - Posted by VeryInterestedO...

I'm using the 650w version so I would be more comfortable going dual video cards if I ever went that route. Probably tinker more trying to over clock the heck out of my rig now.

February 5, 2013 | 05:19 PM - Posted by jharderson

Add a second 670 to my main system, or add 4 more drives to my nas box.

February 5, 2013 | 05:36 PM - Posted by razor512

I would be able to have a better spec power supply that will be quieter and also has less line ripple. Which may improve overclocks as well as reduce the overall noise output of the system

Currently stuck with a really loud power supply.

February 5, 2013 | 05:46 PM - Posted by TheLifeGiver

I would be able to to upgrade to a newer (a lot newer) graphic card and possibly run in SLI or CrossFireX mode.

February 5, 2013 | 05:54 PM - Posted by djotter

Install in my current system and run cool and quiet with awesome efficiency maybe even upgrade my graphics card!

February 5, 2013 | 06:18 PM - Posted by GFXmonkey (not verified)

Keep up the good work PCPer! With a new PSU I could run a higher end gpu on my other system.

February 5, 2013 | 06:25 PM - Posted by VikingVR

Owning a Seasonic is like owning a BMW. You know you're getting something that's well engineered for everyday use, and when you need to push it to the limit, it can perform there too. If I had a Seasonic, I would SLI my rig by adding another GTX 680 or replacing it with a GTX Titan (when available). Also, I'd upgrade to a better cooling solution to really push the i7 3770K to it's limits.

February 5, 2013 | 06:50 PM - Posted by boothman

You guys have the best content & contests!! Was highly considering going for broke and getting a high end HD 8000 series card....and this would be the perfect compliment to that.

Thanks again, and keep up the good work! We appreciate all you do!

Seasonic is has a really good reputation for quality. The 80+ Bronze rating will save dollars on electrical consumption while delivering clean power. Either PS would make a good upgrade to my old PS.

Thanks for the services PcPer provides.

February 6, 2013 | 05:12 AM - Posted by jackjackduank (not verified)

i trust Seasonic as my 1st choice of power Supply, because Seasonic can deliver his wattage as it's written on his PSU cover. I want to secure my precious rig for any electricity fault, i choose Seasonic to secure my investment to my rig.

February 6, 2013 | 05:15 AM - Posted by David (not verified)

February 6, 2013 | 05:25 AM - Posted by ryandigweed

Already liked all those pages. I could use this PSU to give me some headroom for some more upgrades (HDD's and GFX). Apart from the efficient power, i really love modular PSU's, they make the system look much cleaner, even though your cables are tucked away neatly. These are much easier to braid too ! :)

February 6, 2013 | 05:28 AM - Posted by altereDad

I have a generic PSU at the moment that came with the Case. I am in the midst of trying to piece together an upgrade, and saving money is high n my list. I just blew a lot of money on new tires for my vehicle. Gotta keep the family safe.

If I won this beautiful PSU it would serve as a catalyst upgrade for a new full tower case, with proper cable routing implemented, and a new GPU to replace my current 512mb HD5450. This would complete my dream multimedia production pc! :)

With one of these power supplies I would be able to upgrade my whole system (or actually build a new one) without having to worry whether I have enough power or not! And I would probably be able to enjoy more silence (Currently using an old pc with a 300W PSU that sounds like a jet engine lol..)

February 6, 2013 | 07:26 AM - Posted by Luis (not verified)

I would be able to give my current PSU + graphics card to my girlfriend, since her graphics card is slowly dying and she needs a better PSU for a modern card.
With this seasonic PSU, I would buy a new card for myself and install it with this PSU. I currently own a HD7870, which would be an awesome upgrade for my gf's 9500GT ^^ she would be so happy!

February 6, 2013 | 07:47 AM - Posted by Sam (not verified)

Haven't actually tried your PSU's before, but would love to change that. A 750 or 850 watt Seasonic PSU would be a VERY nice start for a better PC than my current one! Great giveaway seasonic, Thanks!

I would finally be able to get rid of this noisy PSU that I have and finally stabilize my 920 and 460 GPU overclock.

The bearings on my current PSU are badly, makes the loudest sound.

Been eyeballing that 850 PSU to make my current system thrive. Finally have a chance to get one and invest the money into a SSD.

Since i have a 6 year old 450W PSU which gives out weird noises when i turn on the pc i think i can do anything better with a new one. This would be a real upgrade because i can't buy new vga or anything what needs more power atm.

I could feed a hungry homeless person with this new power supply. With the savings made by having that extra efficiency, i could purchase several (insert favourite fast food outlet) meals, with which would i could fill the tum tums of my nearest local homeless contingency. I believe i have the most moral reasons here, for this new spangly dangly power supply. Give it up.

I would put this PCU into my pc and in this year i could make a crossfire to my twinfrozr 3 7850.
With the old seasonic 550W i would build a gaming pc for my girlfriend as a gift for valentine's day because she is addictive to computer games too, and this would be a very nice present for her.I will paint her case in her favorite color > lightblue + some white parts.

Thank you PC Prespective and Seasonic!
Good luck to everyone.
