I would upgrade my son's XPS 410 power supply.
SLI my 680 :)
With one of these PSU's I could add another GPU to my system.
Shoutout to Seasonic and PCPer for a another good promotion.
I'd be able to game with higher resolution. I'd like to purchase another video card and with my current 550w I'm running low on power, this would be a great start to my newish build.
I will be able to add a better video card.
With one of these I'd finally be able to upgrade to that gtx 670 I've been drooling over. Love the site, and love listening to Ryan on twitch! Cheers!
Excellent choice for expansion and cable management. Having never had to use anything over 650W, I'd stick another GTX 660 into my motherboard and add a few more hard drives with this PSU. No question that M12II's modularity would be icing on the cake!
I would be able to build another system! Missing out a few components, TBH. Any Seasonic PSUs will truly count!
I would be able to better enjoy gaming as I'd be able to go SLI :-)
This is fantastic! I would definitely be able to better power plenty of hard drives for a massive RAID with one of these PSU's.
I would be able to add a second GTX 670!
for me gaming is the key it is something you need a fantastic psu for
If I had one of these awesome psu's I could upgrade my video card setup to SLI as well as add a few more hard drives. That would really make my work station awesome.
Thanks!
Alex
I would be able to build my new system.
If I had one of these awesome PSU's, I could finally upgrade my video card.
Having this psu will free my mind from any power related bottlenecks. This will also pave for easy future upgrades without even giving a second thought about power restriction.
And most importantly being an 80+ certified means better efficiency which provides stable power ensuring safety of my system (from noise ripples)
In a nutshell this smps is like a complete life insurance of my system.
I would be able to add a second video card to my system
Wow!
For sure, this will be great for my very first Gaming/Multi-media PC build which I plan to complete in 2013. Any goodies will surely help the budget (currently not good).
The 850 would probably be the one I am aiming at to support 2 GPU and 1 AVC (primary watt consumers).
Best of luck everyone!
Step 1 all done, well definitely i could change my current psu and i can finally play some games. Don`t have a good psu to power up a nice 7970 so if i would win one of these beauties i could be covered by Seasonic and it would really help me.
Thanks for the chance. Cross my fingers for this one.
Thanks again.
I've an older case that has a design I like, but it has a 400W PSU that is limited to 20-pin ATX power, so the motherboard can't be upgraded until the PSU gets upgraded. A new PSU would allow me to keep the case that I like, and do a full hardware upgrade.
I would be able to do a better cable management, so that the system will have a better airflow, becoming more efficient. And because of the 80PLUS certification, which helps with the power conversion, wasting less electric energy.
i would not have to keep patching up the connectors on it. my current one for some reason have to either glue, tie, or solder it to keep it running its an old 750w C*****R. i could add 2 more hard rives that would be great. also would love to try out modular. would help make my case look neater, cleaner easier to dust out.
This will allow me to clean up the wiring in my server due to the modular nature of the supply and allow me to run more drives.
in for it its my bday afterall
With a new PSU I would be able to improve the cable management in my case since the 2 four pin connectors, which supply extra power for the cpu on my gene-z, have the cables too short to make them pass behind the motherboard so I had to make them pass over the gpu and they are hanging over the cpu fan which is kinda dangerous, the fact the they touch the side and a little of the backplate of my gpu is also preoccupying I'm afraid they could melt and short out. I'm also looking forward to AMD's HD 89xx series and having a better PSU would be way better, I'm not even sure if a 7970 would run with only 500W PSU.

my old power supply just died so I could use this in my new machine and the one I have now in my old. I could upgrade my video to 2 AMD cards with a power supply like this. I hope I win something from Ryan, I have never won anything from PCPER
This would go a ways towards pc daughters PC NOT going thru other brand PSUs like water under a bridge!
It would allow me to really upgrade my Graphics Card !!! :-)
Definitely beats the hell out of my pos power supply.
With a new Seasonic PSU I could upgrade from my current ULTRA branded power supply. Need I say more. I already like and follow on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
