As you can no doubt tell, PC Perspective got a HUGE and much needed facelift recently to what we are internally calling "PC Perspective v4.0". I know there are still some kinks to work out and we are actively addressing any feedback from our readers in this comment thread.
But we want to celebrate the launch of the new site in style!! Some of our site sponsors have very generously offered up some prizes for us to give out throughout the coming days...
The ninth (!!) prize is a set of Corsair Gaming Audio Series SP2500 2.1 Speakers!!
What do you have to do to win this wonderful piece of hardware?
Couldn't be easier: post a comment in this post thanking Corsair for its sponsorship of PC Perspective as well as an interesting feature or addition you would like to see in future speaker sets. Be creative! You should probably have a registered account or at least be sure you include your email address in the appropriate field so we can contact you!

thanks corsair!
i'd love to see a high end speaker system like this, in a 5.1 version. a cool feature could be USB so the DAC could be on board. with the selection of quality sound cards for we audio enthusiasts shrinking a well built, quality minded all in one system would be appealing.
I'm speaker-ing here to thank Corsair for sponsoring PCPer.
Thanks Corsair! ThanKs PCper team
Thanks Corsair and PCPer for offering some nice prizes! Keep up the good work!
Your the best. Corsair.
Thanks Corsair for sponsoring PC Perspective.
Thanks Corsair, I would like to see the ability to hook up all my hardware that uses sound and be able to switch from them remotely. If I had something that would attach to my pc, xbox, ps3, and wii that would be awesome.
Just built a new system with Corsair: 600T case,HS1A headset,16GB XMS1600 memory,H60 liquid cooler, and AX850 gold power supply. Most all reviewed by PCPer Thanks Guys. These would look really fine on my desk. Thanks Corsair For some great Products!
Thank you Corsair for your sponsorship of PC Perspective. It might be cool to have some Ipod connectors on the speakers or, perhaps, a small spectrum analyser for sheer coolness:).
thanks!
Hey Corsair, thanks for supporting PCper and the speakers would be a great alternative to my HS1s.

Thank you Corsair for sponsoring PCPer and for another great competition prize! I want it.
What I would like in some future speaker set:
- 2.1 with digital input
- wooden cabinets with a classic and understated design (the classic box with full front mesh, metal is fine but textile is better for sound)
- an integrated MP3 player (+other audio formats, FLAC comes to mind), with USB host capability (or LAN :P)
- a wireless remote control, you can move the LCD screen on the subwoofer
- an even lower end response frequency, 35Hz is OK, but 25-30 would be divine (at least a 10" driver, preferably 12")
- it doesn't need to be a gazillion Watts, 200-300W total is fine
Thanks Corsair for backing PC Per. You Guys Rock!
Gimme, gimme... thanks Corsair.
Thanks Corsair for sponsoring PCPer. Nice speakers.
Thanks to corsair for sponsoring such an awesome site. I'd love to see desktop speakers that have a card reader or portable speakers with a built in mp3 player.
Thank you for backing PC Perspective Corsair!
I'd like an entire PC made only from Corsair components , :) . Great job Corsair , big fan.
Thank you Corsair for sponsoring PC Per. It would be nice to see an inclusion ouf optical input on a 5.1 surround speaker system. saves having so many cables and makes portable gaming a little easier
Thanks! How about wireless speakers?
I would love to win these. Very cool of corsair to donate these.
thanks corsair
wow these speakers look relaly nice.... gimmegimme
Thank you, Corsair for the sponsorship of PC Per!!

Thank you Corsair for your support to PC Per. It is greatly appreciated.
Thanks heaps corsair, Waterproof speakers would be amazing
Thank you Corsair for sponsoring PC Perspective. I have to say that Corsair is probably the best company I have ever dealt with as far as customer service. I had a 1 GB set of 3200XL memory go out and they no longer had the exact memory available to replace it. They ended up sending me 2 GB of DDR 2 Dominator memory to replace it. Now, that's what I call customer service! PC Perspective couldn't be sponsored by a better company as far as I'm concerned. Thinking about features I'd like to see for speaker systems two things came to mind. One feature I'd like is to maybe have a wireless controller for the speaker system. The volume control for my main system falls off the edge of the table I have it on every once in a while, because of where I have to lay it due to the cord length. The other is the volume control is a little scratchy when I move it, likely due to some corrosion on the contacts. Moving it back and forth quickly hasn't seemed to get rid of the corrosion. I'd like to see something to help stop that problem from occurring. But, with also keeping the volume control separate for the one and off switch so I don't have to adjust the volume when I turn the speakers on.
Thanks again Corsair
For the future - speakers with lasers in their cones :P
Thanks Corsair. I'd like longer cables.
Thank you Corsair for sponsoring PC Perspective.
I like the idea of a wireless control for the speaker set instead of having it on one of the speakers or tied to a wire.
Thanks Corsair! The new site look is great!
