Thanks Corsair! My worst was the sound on a amd board with nvidia chipset. Would hear squealing and popping regularly from that setup. Finally put in an add in card. Horrible!

Worst POS i bought was a headset by creative. Will never touch another of their products again. Crackling Microphone in my friends ears over vent and teamspeak, ear peice material that basically fell apart after a month, and mediocre at best sound. blech.

Always been a Corsair fan, but have only used their memory. My worst speaker setup... the one I have now. Two generic speakers I've had for probably over eight years.

So crappy was its sound quality, there actually was distortion a few weeks into its use. Right now its in 3 pieces!, but the darn thing still works!!!

had way better and costly stuff than that.

My worst audio configuration was about eight years ago when I was a poor college student and couldn't afford to buy headphones. I'm not sure words do it justice (image linked below), but I basically cobbled together something that resembled a headset out of packing peanuts, a paper clip, duct tape, a plastic spoon and some other assorted stuff. On the plus side wearing it guaranteed me a seat to myself on the bus.
