As you can no doubt tell, PC Perspective got a HUGE and much needed facelift over the weekend to what we are internally calling "PC Perspective v4.0". I know there are still some kinks to work out and we are actively addressing any feedback from our readers in this comment thread.
But we want to celebrate the launch of the new site in style!! Some of our site sponsors have very generously offered up some prizes for us to give out throughout the coming days...
The fourth set of prizes is a pair of Corsair Gaming Audio Series HS1 Headsets!
Winners of this contest will be able to choose if they prefer the HS1 USB-based model or the HS1A analog connection model. Check out the review I linked above as these are some very nice headphones with an MSRP of $99!!
What do you have to do to win this wonderful piece of hardware?
Couldn't be easier: post a comment in this post thanking Corsair for its sponsorship of PC Perspective as well as the worst audio configuration you have ever owned! Fess up, what junk have you bought at Best Buy for $9.99??
You should probably have a registered account or at least be sure you include your email address in the appropriate field so we can contact you!
We will pick the winners tomorrow and move on to the next hardware that finds its way to PC Perspective offices. Good luck and thanks for reading!!

That you Corsair for sponsoring PCPerspective and the great giveaway. Looking forward to seeing the headset attached to my pc.
Thanks going out to Corsair for providing these great Corsair headphones to be given away in celebration of the new PC Perspective web site. I would prefer the USB version, but would also be happy with the analog version. As for the worst audio configuration I've ever owned?... I use to have a pair of old headphones wired up to the PC speaker connector in my PC back in the early 90s.
Corsair, thank you very much for your sponsorship/advertising on PC Pespectives:). I'd have to say the worst audio configuration I ever had were "folding in-ear headphones" that I bought at a .99 cent store and the traditional cord was this folding accordian like thing...the sound was horrible but on the plus side...I could literally play Buckwheat zydecko...:))
Thanks Corsair,
Thanks Corsair for sponsoring PC Perspective!
The worst headphones I had hurt my ears after 5 minutes of use.
Thanks Corsair, and PC Perspective for another Great giveaway! Is it true your giving away a trip to play Simon on Jeopardy to anyone that can read three lines of text in the main PC Per window before it cycles? And that anyone with a dialup connection would be disqualified for having an unfair advantage? Harvest cheddar sun chips, mmmm!!!
Thanks Corsair for sponsoring this bunch, love the builder series ps btw ,worst pc sound sys had to be on my 286 system that ran off pc speaker although i think i had something really funky on the cyrix 486 box as well
Thanks Corsair for the sponsorship and thanks PCperspective for this chance. Easter prizes!
Worst audio configuration? I had a 5$ headset for an old sony walkman, that was all that i enjoyed for couple of years
Thanks Corsair for the sponsorship. Your product rule :)
Thanks Corsair for everything. Just got my new modular PSU from you guys and it`s awesome.
I would like to thank both PCPER and CORSAIR for supporting the end users.
Thanks for the sponsorship of PC perspective Corsair and the giveaway. Now i have lots to say.fisrt of all, i am a big fan of pc perspective and corsair.i have a lot of products of corsair on my pc like corsair ram with heat sinker,etc..i had a audio headset of corsair , but somehow i lost it one day..when i took it to my college my laptop..and forgot about it...till then i have been banking on these cheap headsets ..but its horrible..some of them are like huge ..but dont have proper sound quality...some of them are small...but my ear aches after 15 to 20 mins ..and some are not worth talking about..thirdly...i want my corsair headset back...nd i guess i am lucky enough to win it this time round the corner ...thanks nd finger crossed.
Thanks Corsair for supporting PC Perspective! Worst junk ever owned = freebie earbuds that I got at school during a tech fair... this was a few years ago. it's probably stored away with my other free tech stuff
Thank you so much to Corsair for supporting PC Perspective. I'm psyched that they're making their way into the audio market; everything Corsair produces is always exceptional.
By far the worst audio configuration I've ever owned were a pair of ancient Logitech speakers that I bought off of a Best Buy employee. Not from Best Buy stock, but from the back of his car. They sounded like a dying cat.
Thanks again to Corsair's sponsorship and PC Perspective. The site redesign looks excellent and I find myself stopping by here more and more.
Thanks Corsair!
I'd like to thank Corsair for its kind sponsorship of PC Perspective. I'd like to comment that these headphones also sound great for portable Mp3 players.
I bought a couple of headphones at Best Buy which were a no name audio company. Worst audio decision I ever made. Now I know better and save my money for quality audio components.
Thanks Corsair for another fine product. I did buy a set that wrapped around back of my head - looked good on the box but just never felt right at all.
Awesome prize and awesome site; thanks PC Perspective!
I love you guys. you ARE the best computer sight out there!!
Thanks Corsair!
I forget the brand but I had a beige pair of generic PC speakers from the mid 90's that were powered by the headphone outlet. Forget how they sounded, they even looked bad...
Thanks Corsair for being a sponsor.
Worst system I owned was a 5.1 system from KLH that I bought at Best Buy many years ago.
Thanks, Corsair! It's good to know the PC gamers aren't forgotten...
I have a set of these, they are awesome! GL to everyone
Thanx corsair for sponsorship of PC Perspective
I still use Creative HN-505 for gaming that has very low volume and I have to plug AAA battery to amplify sound and get the bass.
OMG I has spent many battery for it.
Big Thanks to Corsair for supporting PC Perspective.. That's Awesome Dude!!!
My worst audio? I think the worst audio I ever had is using smartphone earphone at my PC and using monitor that include speakers.. It sounds sucks, believe me!!! That was a long time ago I thinked.. Really want to try this cute 7.1 headset..
Keep up d gud work.. Toast~
Thanks Corsair and PCPer for the giveaway. My worst audio configuration had no speakers. A runner up would be Creative drivers running on an early VIA KT133 chipset.
Thanks Corsair.
Thx Corsair 4 sponsorship. Worst audio I had was in my laptop Zepto Znote 6214W. Sound quality was terrible even for laptop and one speaker wasnt working. One day I got mad and dissassambled laptop, took out speakers AND soundcard, trew them away and never looked back. And then Ive realized that Ive lost one usb port due to it being connected to sound card.
Thanks Corsair for your sponsership of PCperspective! These headphones would be a major upgrade from my current cheap setup which is the worst setup I ever had.
Thank u corsair I love giveaways I never win, but I love to sign up anyway
Thanks Corsair!
One RAM that's never disappointed ever.
