As you can no doubt tell, PC Perspective got a HUGE and much needed facelift recently to what we are internally calling "PC Perspective v4.0".  I know there are still some kinks to work out and we are actively addressing any feedback from our readers in this comment thread.

But we want to celebrate the launch of the new site in style!!  Some of our site sponsors have very generously offered up some prizes for us to give out throughout the coming days...

The tenth (!!) prize is a wicked ASUS GeForce GTX 570 DirectCU II card that is a triple-slot design and that supports 3D Vision Surround out of the box!

What do you have to do to win this wonderful piece of hardware?

Couldn't be easier: post a comment in this post thanking ASUS for its sponsorship of PC Perspective as well as what feature in a graphics card you would most like to see in the future.  Be creative! You should probably have a registered account or at least be sure you include your email address in the appropriate field so we can contact you!

Thanks for sponsoring this giveaway Asus! Have always loved your graphics cards! One of the features I would like to see would be a high performance card like this as time progresses to get smaller. I love low profile cases, but most of the time I am forced to use large cases to house a nice graphics card. Just a thought. I love seeing faster cards in smaller packages!

Thanks Asus for sponsoring PC Perspective. Would like a video card have a feature that would make coffee so I would not have to get up from the computer to get one. ;-)

Thanks ASUS! Smaller faster cheaper

I'd love to have a new GPU to replace my Radeon 4850 with its noisy fan,

May 23, 2011 | 07:14 AM - Posted by gazornenplat

Haha, yes! I have a 4850X2 right now and it is SO LOUD!

Thanks, ASUS, for sponsoring PC Perspective. Lower GPU temeperatures and quieter cooling are always welcome.

I have a need to downscale a large technical app (runs natively at about 1280x1024 - can not be changed) to be visible on a laptop with a max 1024x768 resolution. This prevents me from working at home due to the laptop's resolution. If there was a way to emulate a larger resolution desktop area, but scale it down to fit on my screen (the readability is actually fine to sacrfice for my particular need), that would be amazing, especially if it could be app-specific. There may be some software apps out there, but hardware support would be great. Another option would be to scroll/pan around a larger desktop.

I've been holding out with my HD 3850 for a while now, this would be a great upgrade.

Things that could improve on GPU's could be more applications to support these new technologies such as Direct CU, etc.

Perhaps some sort of push from the GPU manufacturers on software devs to take more advantage of special features.

Thank you Asus for making such wonderful cards today. Your one of my choices when I'm selecting a new card for new builds.

Thanks Asus for sponsoring PC Perspective! IDK... I know some enthusiasts like water cooling. Perhaps design a card that gives enthusiasts an option to take advantage of their water cooling setup.

Thanks Asus for the chance to win this awesome Beast of Card! If it's not too much trouble, could you add a built-in projector on the card so wouldn't need a monitor at all -just point the PC at the wall :P

I think everyone who follows PCPerspective thanks ASUS for their sponsorship of an informative and yet entertaining
internet resource that is PCPerspective.
A feature I would like to see on Nvidia based GPU's is
the ability to run 3 monitors off of one GPU.
The Asus Geforce GTX 570 Direct CU II looks like a real
nice card. Too bad it won't fit in my case a CoolerMaster
Storm Scout it can only handle cards up to 10.6".
Well, I guess if I won I would just have to do a
new build! :-)

Thanks ASUS for coming to the plate and helping out a good site & crew. For video cards, it's all about 30" gaming.

To ASUS, PC Per wants us to say thank you for supporting them and giving them trinkets to give away but i feel that thank you is not enough so im going to offer myself as a sacrifice..... just kidding I have owned ASUS M/B and Video cards for years now and they have never let me down,

so thank you for supporting PC Per

Thanks Asus for sponsoring PC Perspective. One feature I would love to see would be a new technology where you can use additional Nvidia cards together and then combine their power together. It would be different than SLI because you could use different Nvidia cards, i.e. GTX 570 + GTX 260. That would be cool!!

Thank you ASUS! As soon as I have the cash, you'll be part of my build - no doubt. How about a tube to direct all that heat to a footwarmer under the desk? Would be great in the Minnesota winter. :)

+1 to Asus, I own a lot if your products. TY for sponsoring PCPer

May 22, 2011 | 08:13 PM - Posted by markyz07

Thanks Asus for sponsoring PCPer!
If I win this card, I'll replace my GTX 460 with this and give my 460 to my sis cuz she has an aging videocard so both of us can play Portal 2 in all its glory! =)

The feature I want to see on future video cards would be a more quiet fan and a reverse design with fans facing upwards. So instead of seeing the green board of our vid cards on most cases with side window, we'll see the big fans of our vid cards =)

A big thanks to ASUS for sponsoring PCPER... Its so important that they value the enthusiast crowd.. good on them.

Now, for graphics card: I want a high-performing card that is QUIET.... even if it means a huge fan and heatsink... I know water cooling is one answer, but I want simpler.

Thanks to Asus and PCPer for this contest.

One feature of a graphics card I'd love to see in the future is realtime raytracing. Yeah I know, not likely to happen, but we can dream, right?

May 22, 2011 | 08:29 PM - Posted by slugbug55

A big thank you to Asus for sponsoring this giveaway. One thing I would like to see on a videocard is a reversed design with the cooling fan on the opposite side. I never understood why manufacturers design a custom cooling shroud with gorgeous graphics and once installed we can't see it through our side panel windows.

Hey Asus! Thanks for sponsoring pcper! The only place I look for video card reviews! Something I would love to see in a video card is silent or quit high performance video card. If you guys made something like this I would buy it right away!

May 22, 2011 | 08:44 PM - Posted by KTL

Thanks Asus for sponsoring PCPer. This will sound crazy, but how about a "single" card with dual PCIe x16 connections with a custom cooler sandwiched between 4 GPUs on the "top" and "bottom" sides (2 each) of each PCB.
