The Viewsonic VX2435wm is under examination at 3dGameMan.  As the name hints it is a 24" widescreen LCD, with a resolution of 1920x1200 and 8ms gtg and HDCP support for HDMI and DVI.  They found the text to be perfectly sharp but had some problems with the brightness being too high, which is a good thing for some viewers.  Unfortunately, the size slows down the response rate to the point where ghosting is evident during intense gaming, so it seems this monitor is more suited to other uses.

brightness for my liking. No matter what I tried the display always seemed too bright. This can be resolved though with

the video card color properties. For the most part, you should be able to turn on a display and start working/playing...'
