Lee has just finished his review of the rather stylish CoolerMaster V8, the first heatsink in their new series to be tested here at PC Perspective.  One of the highlights of the cooler is it’s very unique shape, which also has some drawbacks as Lee discovered when trying to use other fans on the cooler.  Don’t let that stop you from reading the review, even with that small problem this cooler took a Gold Award.

“The Cooler Master CPU cooler did a very good job of keeping the fully loaded CPU cool, especially when you take into consideration how quiet the cooler is. Because of the limited space in the middle of the cooler (designed for a 25mm thick fan), we couldn’t test the V8 with some of the larger, high-speed air turbines we used on some other coolers.”
