Memorial Day in the US is just around the corner and the team at PC Perspective wanted to take some time from our schedule to really pay tribute to those that have allowed this country to become what it is today. The military is something that none of us should take for granted and it is in our servicemen and womens honor that we sponsor a contest like this.

PC Perspective, partnering with sponsors Smooth Creations, Diamond Multimedia, Lite-On, G.Skill, Cooler Master, Western Digital and abit, has put together one of the most impressive giveaways ever! Here is a layout on the prizes:

PC Perspective and our contest sponsors really want to give back to the military that keeps our great country safe this holiday, so we are focusing on them for the contest. Anyone who is or has been in the military is encouraged to enter though any PC Perspective reader can also sign up as well. If the winner of the Grand Price gaming system is active, a representative from Diamond has agreed to personally hand deliver the prize in persona, ANYWHERE in the world!

To enter, all you need to do is sign up for a our Memorial Day Contest mailing list - that is it!!. We want as many people as possible to have a chance to win some of these incredible prizes. All you need to do to register is send an email to memorialday-request@pcper.com with the word "subscribe" in the subject and body (without quotes). All of our winners will be chosen from this list!!!

If you are interested in getting involved in the spirit of the holiday as well as getting ANOTHER entry into the contest, we welcome you to donate some money to the Disabled American Veterans. Please visit the DAV Donation page and donate any amount through their website directly, as this will make sure 100% of the donation gets where it needs to go. Once you complete the process, you will have a summary page like the one shown below:

Copy/paste this page in an email to me at contest@pcper.com so that I have the verification number here on hand. This donation will then get you an additional entry to the contest for ever $5.00 US donated. $500 = 100 donations, etc. Now you can really increase your chances of taking home that sweet, sweet system!

As an added incentive for you to donate to the DAV fund, I am committing PC Perspective to match all DAV donations up to $5000 total! We here at the site are very proud of our military and we want to encourage you all to donate as much as you can for this great cause!

Entries for the contest, including the mailing-list sign up (which is required) as well as the DAV donations, are going to be accepted until Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th. That week we will select our winners and have them posted here.
