While you have most likely read a few reviews of Arkham Asylum, none have focused so directly on the impact of PhysX on performance in this game that the review posted at [H]ard|OCP. Even if you have no desire to stare at the back of the Batman for the entire duration of a game, it is worth reading through the article to learn about PhysX.
