Our Intel X25-M G2 sample just arrived.  I promptly threw it on the storage testbed and got some initial data.  I'll let the pics do the talking:

X25-M G2 in the lab.



ATTO pass shows an approximate 10% increase in write speeds over the G1 X25-M.



HDTach RW shows the same slight improvements to write speed.
