Computex 2009: NVIDIA demos DX Compute and Terminator Salvation PhysX Mon, Jun 01, 2009 - 10:28 AM
At the first of two NVIDIA press conferences at Computex 2009, NVIDIA was showcasing GPU computing and the power of the CPU + GPU platform for both high-end desktop solutions and low-end ION systems.

NVIDIA also took the chance to demonstrate a couple of interesting DirectX DX Compute examples: one of a calculated ocean surface and other of a smoke cloud generated by a car.  An upcoming expansion to the PC title Terminator Salvation was also shown for the first time with PhysX support and we have side-by-side footage of the game in action below.
