The thing I would like them
The thing I would like them to talk about is in detail how they have improved the EZ overclocking features. I know in the past it has been easy to overclock to a small degree auto-magically with Asus boards but early reports from around the web are claiming that the EZ overclock is hitting very close to what you can accomplish via manual overclocking. I was wondering what sort of specific changes if any they have made to this chipset that accomplish this or if it is just a refinement of the software over time?

Morry did a pretty good job of covering the basics in his review of the Z97 Deluxe motherboard..so the only question I can come up with is….
I see that Intel Nics are heavily promoted for all the Asus Z97 motherboards, will all the H97 Asus boards also use Intel Nic exclusively?
I agree about the contest
I agree about the contest process. Random selection with a form is the best! I am sure many other people are watching while they do other work or simply their system is not up to speed (ISP+PC+NETWORK+FIREWALLS).
I recall seeing my browser crash or froze-up in a middle of a “QUICK ACTION” draw because of both the Cast and Chat Channel were using up too much resources. Sadly, I had to watch the replay during the next day.

I mostly build virtual computer hosts, so I treat them like servers. The Push Notice feature is particularly interesting to me as a seemingly easy, flexible way to monitor them.
Where can I find more information? Preferably some kind of programming option, so I can customize it to my needs, but also to better understand everything it can push?

Will the EZoverclock be configurable in anyway? Like a low overclock, or a I don’t care give me more power overclock? I like to overclock myself, but haven’t done so since the core 2 duo days, so I’m a bit rusty with this kind of stuff.

I am not currently running Windows 8.1, but if I did a new build with a new Z97 chipset motherboard, I would consider it.
How is the support for Xonar add in cards or onboard audio under Windows 8.1?
I have heard that there are compatibility issues with Asus current Xonar soundcards and Windows 8.1 in general.
Are there going to be any updated Xonar type add in sound cards to complement the new motherboards?

Looks like work, after all, is gonna keep me from tuning in but hopefully I can catch the archive.
I’m building a new DAW soon and figured I’d wait for the new boards and chips coming. Someone mentioned discussion about the best boards for various tasks but I rarely see it asked which one might be best suited for a Digital Audio Workstation? Does it matter much or will any mid to high range board do?

For the most part, you do not
For the most part, you do not need to be too picky for a DAW motherboard. Most will do about the same.
That said, I do have a few recommendations. A lot of good audio interfaces use firewire (1394), which is a rare feature on motherboards these days. I would not go out of my way to get one, however, because a lot of interfaces have issues with firewire controllers which are not made by Texas Instruments. Instead, you should probably get a good PCIe add-in board with a TI controller if it is required.
I am being pedantic with this next one, but it is also a good idea to find DPC latency numbers for any motherboard you are looking at if possible. It’s a little rare for reviewers to test this aspect, but HardOCP recently started doing so. I honestly don’t know how much DPC latency will effect a DAW, but I do know that audio is particularly sensitive to any kind of latency.
Lastly, I always recommend getting ECC memory (with a CPU and MB that fully supports it) for a real workstation. Some people will say it isn’t necessary, but it’s a good consideration for actual work. ECC is more expensive, and you will probably be fine without it.
