FSP's new Raider series of PSUs

FSP has been making PSUs for a long time now, usually providing decent quality components that might not stand out against other companies flagship models but that do a decent job for what they are needed for.  That is repeated in the Raider series as they chose a non-modular design and only four 6+2pin PCIe connectors though it does have an 80 PLUS Bronze rating, both of those choices helped keep the price down as it is currently $80 on NewEgg.  Price is not everything as [H]ard|OCP proved when they put this PSU through their torture tests and watched it provide voltages well out of specifications as well as offering poor support.

The SilverStone Strider Gold 750W deserves its name, but for the wrong reason

The SilverStone Strider Gold 750W offers good performance but unfortunately demands a premium price.  Overclockers Online had a hard time getting around that fact when they reviewed this unit.  There is nothing bad about the PSU, the solid performance of the single 12V rail at 62A will keep most users happy as will the amount of SATA and PCIe connectors.  The 5V rail does vary by about 3% but is still well within specifications.  Still, there are competitors out there delivering the same performance and charging less money for their units.

"The Strider Gold 750W does have a quite a bit of good points going for it and a few excellent ones, namely: efficiency and some pretty decent line regulation on the 12V rail (which reasonably, we care quite a bit more for than the 5V rail). The unit is also built extraordinarily well, inside and out. Still, while we can hardly discount the fact that the Strider Gold 750W is priced just a wee bit higher than it should, that decision is for the individual and despite priced a tad higher than other units, the Strider Gold is still a solid power supply."

Corsair is very enthused about the TX750 V2 750W PSU

Just a brief time ago asking if Corsair made power supplies would only get you an odd look in return, but over the past few years they have become quite well known for several lines of quality PSUs.  The newest is Version 2 of their TX750, a PSU that has been around for about 3 years and is in need of updating. [H]ard|OCP was glad to see that this PSU was an improvement from the previous iteration and it handily took a Silver Award from them after passing testing with flying colours.

"Corsair is clearly defining the market for its new "Enthusiast Series" 750 watt power supply. Now that we know who it is for, surely we know what to expect from it right? Corsair has climbed to the top with a few other brands in a short period of time, let's see if "enthusiast" means the same thing to Corsair as it does to us."
