SilverStone has a well earned reputation among PC enthusiasts for providing a full line of high quality enclosures, power supplies, cooling components, and accessories.  The new FT01 is the first enclosure in SilverStone’s new Fortress series.  It features an all aluminum chassis that incorporates the same premium build quality originally found in the Temjin TJ07 full-tower enclosure, but in a more compact mid-tower size.  Even so it provides five external drive bays and seven internal HDD bays to satisfy all your storage needs.  The Fortress FT01 is available with a brushed aluminum finish in either silver or black and with or without a large acrylic side window.

One of the FT01’s more notable features is the inclusion of two quiet 180mm intake (and one 120mm exhaust) fans configured to provide positive air pressure inside the case.  SilverStone claims that by designing the FT01 “with positive air pressure concept, it enables better cooling performance than traditional chassis but also helps to prevent dust from penetrating into the chassis by use of filters on intake fans and forcing air out of the chassis through unfiltered openings.”
