Using Clips and Picture Quality

Clips is a segment of the OnAir software that allows you to edit and cut parts of recorded video into smaller sections and export them.  Say you saw a great commercial while recording the basketball game -- you can just open up the save file in the Clips program, select a start and end point for that clip and then export the file. 

Here you can see I am testing the clipping process out and the blue section in the status bar there indicates my starting and ending points. 

Image Quality

In my experiences with TV tuners on the PC, quality is always up in the air.  With the OnAir GT, the quality was on par with anything I have seen recently including the All-in-Wonder X1900 and recent NVIDIA Dual Tuner card.

The quality of the above screen shots is pretty good (and keep in mind compressed for web traffic) and it shows the decoder from NVIDIA's PureVideo software and the digital encoder on the OnAir GT are good quality.  Keep in mind that blowing up ANY image above it standard resolution will produce lower and lower apparent image quality as the image size increases.
