Introduction and Features

Please DIGG this article if you found it interesting and/or helpful - thanks!

The Thermaltake Mozart Tx is certainly unique and one of the largest PC enclosures I have reviewed to date.  Most Home Theater PC and entertainment center enclosures are relatively compact in design and frequently model traditional audio gear in appearance.  Not the Mozart Tx.  It stands over 28” (72cm) high, has four internal compartments, and can accommodate two separate computer systems.  The Mozart Tx comes with five 120mm fans installed and has mounting holes for five more.  It may not fit in your AV rack but thanks to clean lines and elegant styling, it should be right at home in your entertainment room.

The Mozart Tx VE1000 Series Entertainment Center is available with or without side panel windows and comes in either silver (natural aluminum) or black.  The two silver models feature all aluminum construction while the two black models have a steel chassis with aluminum panels.  The clean, stylish front bezel is aluminum and trimmed in black.  There are six internal 3.5” drive bays and seven exposed drive bays including one 7” bay at the top that is designed to house an optional LCD touch screen monitor.

Because of its unique design the Mozart Tx enclosure offers great versatility for numerous projects.  And there is plenty of room for adding a water-cooling system or two with support for multiple radiators.

Mozart Tx VE1000 Series Key Features:

  • Cube tower design with brushed aluminum front panel
  • Houses two PCs in one chassis: (1) ATX/BTX and (1) Mini ITX

  • Independent Thermal Chambers for optimal thermal management
  • Spacious design for liquid cooling system and two 12 x 24 cm radiators
  • Superb airflow: Openings for ten 120mm fans and one 80mm fan
