Introduction & Specs

It’s always interesting to see how various motherboard vendors deal with a particular chipset. Over the past few weeks we have taken a look at Intel 915P implementations on a budget Chaintech V915P (reviewed here), and the super-connected Asus P5GD2-Premium (reviewed here). Today we are looking at the ABIT AG8 Intel 915P motherboard also supporting the LGA775 socket.

The AG8 weighs in at just over the $100 mark and sports some great enthusiast options that ABIT has become known for. Though both the ABIT AG8 and the Chaintech V915P use the same chipset and memory type, the ABIT package is a bit different and will appeal to a very different crowd.
